I’m Debra and you’ll be seeing me in the context of Functional Skills.

I’ve previously worked across a huge range of sectors and love meeting different people and hearing their stories! I love my job, working with people from all over the country and hearing all sorts of different colloquialisms!

Seeing that ‘lightbulb’ moment in my learners is the reason I do what I do!

I love to be outdoors exploring and I’m very fortunate to live on the outskirts of the beautiful Northumberland countryside where most of my adventures happen! I spend most weekends out walking and visiting National Trust locations with my young family.
