New Funding Rules Enable Fully Flexible Outdoor Activity Instructor Apprenticeships

Recent changes to the Apprenticeship funding rules represent a significant positive step in workforce development for the Outdoor Learning sector. For the first time we are now in a position to design and run Level 3 Outdoor Activity Instructor programmes that are not tied to a 12 month training model, but can be tailored between 9 and 18 months to align with the operational calendar of the employer.

Requirements are still in place to ensure that programmes contain a set amount of off-job training. This can be planned across the duration to flex with operational needs using a block training or continuous learning model supported by Channel Training as the specialist in Outdoor Learning apprenticeships.

This enables a fully flexible approach that ensures you get:
